HLTAID011 Provide First Aid


Provide First Aid applies to various settings where first aid emergencies may occur. It is relevant for workplaces, education, home or community environments. It covers the skills and knowledge required to provide quality CPR and an effective First Aid response for a range of medical conditions and trauma. 


This Nationally Recognised unit teaches the skills and knowledge required to perform CPR and First Aid in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines. It applies to all people who may be required or would like to be skilled to provide CPR and First Aid in a workplace, community or their own home.

Target Audience

This course is aimed at those wanting standard HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and HLTAID011 Provide First Aid qualifications. This course is appropriate for Corporate team building that will train, entertain and engage the team.

Every student requires a Unique Student Identifier (USI) to obtain a certificate or qualification from their registered training organisation when studying a nationally recognised training course in Australia.
