Diver Advanced First Aid & Resuscitation

Advanced First Aid & Resuscitation & O2 Therapy For Divers

Advanced First Aid & Resuscitation for Divers

Diving is a high-risk activity. All divers operate in a non-respirable environment and risk drowning and injury or death from a number of diving maladies caused by vastly increased underwater (hyperbaric) pressure.

First Aid 000 Diver First Aid and Resuscitation training is specifically designed for recreational and commercial divers. Our training meets the compliance required by AS/NZS 2299.1 Occupational Diving Operations Standard for high-risk diving work.

The course focuses on first-aid situations in a marine and dive setting where you are far from help and alone with an injured diver potentially drowned, suffering injuries from a shark or ill with decompression sickness, pulmonary barotrauma, or decompression illness.  First Aid 000 training is contextualised for these potential marine and diving illnesses and injuries including the use of arterial tourniquets in shark attacks or other causes of arterial bleeding.

First Aid 000 is uniquely positioned to offer this outstanding Diver First Aid skill set as your trainers are marine professionals who hold advanced first aid, diving and marine commercial qualifications obtained over many years of experience at sea.
